Gone Dotty

This piece is raw edge appliquéd with thread embellishment in both cotton and metallic thread.  It is hand beaded to create dimensional surface dots.  It is finished in two layers. The top piece is bound, and then applied to a second whole cloth piece, thus creating an effect of the piece lifting from the surface.
