I am a fiber artist, with a passion for fabric and exploration. I have design
experience, but what interests me most about making my art is the creative process. I work from a spontaneous intuitive place. I am often as
surprised by the final outcome of my pieces as those who view them. A
piece might take one night or several years to complete. I have many evolving at
the same time. I work in a small format, and find it affords me more opportunity
to create and learn. My work is frequently embellished with beads,
buttons, threads, and an occasional found object. I love color, and find
that the colors themselves in a piece often act as my muse.
As an extension of my art work, I also work with
individuals as a private creativity coach. The focus of this work is
to encourage anyone who is interested in exploring and expanding their own
creative process.
